Trying out the new digital. These were my Great Grandfather’s the top is a model 63 .22 Made in 1935. I fell in love with it when I was 8 and often snuck into my parent’s closet just to hold it. I remember receiving it for my 14th birthday like it was yesterday. It received a new stock and bluing in ’95. The other one is a model 1907 in .351 SL I hadn’t seen ammo for it in a couple of years but Cabela’s has it now. I also just obtained two magazines for it. It was sorely neglected for many years and I just obtained it a couple of years ago it desperately needs a buttock and new bluing. It has a 5XXX serial number and was made in 1907.

Nice rifles, you have something there that is priceless (family history). It's good to see things like that kept in the family. I have a Remington Model 33 that was my Uncle's and more than likely a hand me down or present from my Grandad. Unfortunately I got it from his estate sale and will probably never know the true history of the gun. All I know about it is it was made in the mid to early 30's and was his. Although it's just a beat up 22 with weathered stock and no bluing, I think of him every time I shoot it and it's one of my favorites.
