A WWII Sherman tank with fully operational 75mm gun and .50 cal. M2's front and top.

Hey, if yer gonna wish, wish big!

But I'd settle for a portable 60mm mortar and plenty of rounds.

Sparten, I like the Thompsons too... ;)

Boogyman and I think along the same lines. I was thinking of a 155mm Howitzer. A self-propelled Crusader would be nice but I think they shelved those in 2002.

Ha ha! Well, Sniper, so what if Crusaders are obsolete! So are Sherman tanks but I just love 'em in the pure classic sense! Get me a leather helmet and pretend to be "Oddball"... (Donald Sutherland in "Kelly's Heroes" )

Rolling down Main street... "Enough with all the negative WAVES, man! If you just BELIEVE the bridge will be there, then the bridge will be THERE, baby!"

I am OK with wanting something that I can not have. Really I would love to have one of every gun our military has ever used right down to a Brown Bess.

And the time and money to shoot them all......

I think a GLOCK 18 would be fun or one of those GE gatlin guns. Or maybe a heavy belt fed full auto 12 gauge.

The handgun John Wayne used in all of his pictures. I have no idea if it was an actual Colt or a knock off. Old West in Redding had a Colt that I think was presented to him as a gift with a Colt letter. Wasn't for sale though (like I could have afforded it anyway).

After that I would ahve to go with Boogy. Always wanted a Sherman Tank. Don't forget the movie "Tank" with James Garner from the early 80's!

1911 model 45 ACP and M1-Garand. Was going to get a 1911 this month but had my tooth pulled instead. The M1-Garand is out of my price range right now. Oh, I also want to put a really nice stock on my 30-06 hunting rifle.

:)

Certainly a GE minigun. I would trade the wife and kids to get to own a minigun... and enough ammo to feed it for at LEAST an hour... ( Yeah, I know thats a LOT OF AMMO!!!)

But hey... my family would be worth it!!! :D :D :D

If ya want to dream big... might as well kill two birds with one minigun! LOL

I've always lusted for a fine English double rifle in 600 Nitro Express.

Have you checked the prices on those babies lately?

My choice would be the M3A1 grease-gun backed up with my 1911. Slow, controlable rate of fire with big, fat, heavy bullets going downrange. Spec-ops had ones with good, functional suppressors.

For me it would be a Browning 1918A1 or 1918A2. I'd give my left nard for one.

Yes, and if that wasn't enough fun - we had a storm that did some tree damage - ~$400 dollars worth. Guess what - there went the rest - will likely be several months now before I can think about it again with the other items we have to take care of for the next few months (one being a pair of adoptions we hope).:) I really can not complain though, I am blessed with a wonderful wife, a daughter (8 years old) and two foster boys (2 and 3 years of age - they are the ones we hope to adopt - we have had them for a little over a year now) as well as a good job and a roof over my head. What more could I really need.

Seriously? I'd sure like one of these!:

And since the precedent has already been set for history's heavy machinery, ever since I first learned about how the free world was saved in large part by the non-free, I've been fascinated by these:

Don't know about maintaining the latter, though

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-34

"You need five of your tanks to destroy a single German one, but you always have six" —anonymous German tank soldier

...
The T-34 was among the most important weapons systems in the Red Army in the Second World War. Since the Soviet-German front was the decisive land theatre of WWII, the importance of the T-34 can hardly be exaggerated. At the time it was first fielded in 1940, it was easily the finest tank design in the world. By mid-war it was no longer technically superior to all its opponents, but it was still better than most, and it was available in huge numbers.
...

The T-34 is a Soviet medium tank produced from 1940 to 1958. It was the world's best tank when the Soviet Union entered the Second World War, and is credited as the war's most effective, efficient and influential design. First produced in 1940, at the KhPZ factory in Kharkov (Kharkiv, Ukraine), it was the mainstay of Soviet armoured forces throughout WWII, and widely exported afterwards. It was the most-produced tank of the war, and the second most-produced tank of all time, after its successor, the T-54/55 series. A few T-34s remained in use until the 1990s.

The T-34 was developed from the BT series of Fast Tanks, and was intended to replace both the BT tank and the T-26 infantry tank in service. At its introduction, it was the tank with the best balance of firepower, mobility, and protection in existence, although initially its battlefield effectiveness suffered from the unsatisfactory ergonomic layout of its crew compartment, lack of radios and poor tactical employment.

To start, I would want what I have in full auto. Which means my AR-15, Arsenal AK-47, my Mini-14, Mini-30, and one of my Glocks. if i had all of them full auto? I'd be sleepin' gooooood:rolleyes:
Other than that, I'd like a good ol' fashioned Barrett 50 cal.!!!!

I would like a real nice fancy side by side 12 guage, tubes lined up correctly, nice claro wood, double triggers, and hand engraved. All properly fitted to me. It would be a waste since I get out once or twice a year for pheasants but it's a dream right?
