Ok, ok, so it's not a REAL "sniper" rifle, just a Mosin Nagant M91/30 that I recently got and finished dressing it up a little.
After taking the crappy red varnish off, I soaked in a few coats of tung oil. No stain, I was looking for that original military-issue look.
Then I installed an ATI scope-mount and bolt-conversion kit, cutting the mount short behind the rear scope ring, it was unnecessary anyway, and looks better this way.
I had the Bushnell lying around and thought it looked kinda "sniperish" so I put that on there. If I find a WWII-era scope that looks right I'll probably replace it.
Gonna zero it in this week! :D
