hey there tri70 and cajungeo i'm here in north east texas , palestine to be
exact . we plan to be going to mountain view ark . in early october is that
on the way, or in your neighbourhood ? we play a little bluegrass gospel music so we try to go up twice a year , take the travel trailer and stay a week or so .

I'm in the NW corner of the state, to bad, I think it would be great to meet someone from the board. Mountain View is directly east of me and there are no good roads that could get me there. I've been to Batesville for our highschool football playoffs 2 yrs ago, man we almost hit deer about every corner we turned. I'm going to South Dakota in Oct with my dad on a pheasant hunt again this year. I hear the music festiville is very popular.

Hey guys how ye be? I lived near Huntsville, and Springdale Ark a lifetime ago. I also believe I go near Palestine Tex on my way to Lubbock every Christmas.

I have been looking at property in east Tex. Hope to get a few acres to build a house on. It's hard work coming up with a floor plan, and I haven't started with the building yet.

east texas is a pretty good place to live . our area is somewhat below the
tornado belt and about 150 miles from the coast . we are not storm proof
or tornado proof but most of the time we do okay . most of the towns are
small, but i prefer a small town anyway (25,000 or less ).
