Taken last November '05. I also took a nice doe. Both were ground in to burger, or cut in to steaks and tenderloins. It tastes better when you know where it came from.

Adam-
he looked like a nice, meaty buck. Are you still enjoying him from the freezer?
While the antlers may not be B&C perfect, I bet they make nice rattlers for this years rut!
What cartridge dispatched 'em?

He got mixed in with our other deer, but I'm sure some of him is still in there somewhere. It's not my best buck, but he is pretty nice. The angle I'm holding him at makes the rack look quite a bit different than it presents on the wall, but you're right he's no B&C buck. My trusty Remington 700 ADL in .270 Win. put him down quick with one shot at about 100 yards. Winchester Ballistic Silvertip 130 gr.

Just kidding, just kidding! It's a nice buck, Adaman. ;)
If you'd like a great recipe for venison burritos let me know...

He gave me some of his breakfast sausages..... damn they were tasty. One less bambi eating green tomatoes out of my garden and jumping if front of my truck going 70.
