I recently entered the AR-15 game. After some intense reading and weighing the options of what you get for the money, I bought a Rock River Varmint. I wanted the best product I could afford. Customer service, fit, finish, quality of materials and mostly quality of workmanship were all important. Then came the magazine hunt. I like most, can not just have ONE magazine! The search began, I looked into all the major manufacturers, big and small. Once again all the traits that were important to me in shopping for a rifle, were again important in a magazine.
Enter Larry at CProducts........I found tons of favorable reviews on another site, for both the products and customer service. I did some more research and found CProducts' magazines to have reviews higher than manufacturers with magazines priced FOUR TIMES the purchase price of a CProducts.
I bought eight thirty round CProducts magazines, all Mar-Lube coated with chrome silicon springs and MagPul gen II orange followers.
You can not find a better AR-15 magazine on the market! I'm just waiting for Larry to start producing Mini-14 mags!
Another happy CPorducts customer!
i have 5 of the marlube 30 rounders with the green followers, and yes they are very nice mags, after vacation im ordering 5 or 10 more i think
While I intended for this area to be used for "official" product reviews, until we get them posted, I will leave these here.
Thanks for the reviews!

Is the mar-lube worth it? What does it do? Same color as most lower receivers?

i'm no expert, but i believe its just a solid color coating that matches the receiver....for the extra dollar i think its worth it
i picked up 5 C-products 30 rounder mags a month or so ago..great magazine with the genIII orange follower and damn good price
Sneak peak at my review, should be publishing it this week. I might replace the pictures at the end of a USGI bodied upgrade to a full one with a new body, because people might not read it and assume that the final pictures are new mags.

Bill, I would also like to add information regarding the weapon I used during the field trial.
It was an Olympic Arms M-16 that was converted by Davids Gun Room pre.May 1986. It was fitted with an 11" upper of unknown mfg and a Bushmaster heavy buffer to reduce bolt bounce.
Most of the tests were performed with the selector in the full auto position. This gun fires at a very rapid rate with my shorty upper. I've never timed it, but from past experience I'd rate it at about 750 RPM's.
I did several 30 round mag dumps without issues and I attribute the single FTF to the bolt short stroking. This is NOT a mag issue.

I don't mind adding that data. You are legal with that firearm? Don't want to get anyone in trouble!

Yes, it's a legally registered pre-86 machine gun.

These are 20, 30 round C-Products AR-15 magazines I purchased from Midway a while back. These have the Generation II grey Magpul followers. I can depress the follower anywhere with the eraser end of a pencil, and it will depress smoothly, without binding. I can't do that with the green follower mags that I have. Midway had these on sale for only $9.95 each, an excellent buy. I'm going to be buying a few more AR-15's this winter. When I do I'll be in the market for more mags. I see no reason not to go with C-Products again. Bill T.
I use them in my duty weapon and they have run without a hitch.

Century Arms has a recall on 50 cal ammo. French imported with a yellow primer. It does not work well.
The French imported with the silver primer works like it is supposed to. What a great joke this makes, a French round with a yellow primer that wont fire, ha.
Did you hear about the French military munitions plant that blew up? All their white flags got burnt up.
Who says the French are cowards? They were always there when they needed us.
