WTT: One Factory 10 round Mini-14 mag for 2 factory 30's

This mag is a genuine factory 10 round mag.

It is used and in good shape.

I'll take 2 factory 30's in similar shape for my 10.

I'm not interested in an outright sale at this time.

I dont think so. I have seen factory 10s go for $150+. They are highly sought after even though i would never pay that much, people do.

If you guys don't like my offer then you can move on.

It's very bad form to make negative comment on somebody's WTT or WTS in regards to price etc. If you have legitimate questions then fire away. If you feel a member's price is out of line you can always send them a PM if you care to advise them. This goes for my add as well as all other member's add.

I'm not twisting any body's arm to make them trade.

AFAIC if I find a willing person then we will both be happy, otherwise the 10 can remain right here on my desk where it's been for several months. It eats very little, it's potty trained and I like looking at it.

BTW: I don't take this personal, but bad form is bad form regardless.

Maybe you guys need to educate yourself before you go spouting-off about some else's ad.

I have been looking for a factory 10 for sometime now, and if I had two extra factory 30's right now, I would trade them to TD without hesitation.

If you can find one, the factory 10's go for $150-$200. They are highly collectable, and TD is offering this trade to a collector, not a guy who's actually going to go out and shoot the thing.

When an established member is trying to make a legitimate sale, it doesn't help anyone to post just to vent.

A friend of mine was trying to sell a sporting vehicle that happened to be both pristine and still under factory warranty. When he posted the sale on the appropriate enthusiast website, the teen-wannabes came out of the woodwork to post on the thread that the price was slightly above what the average beater was, deduced that my buddy's vehicle was a ripoff, and proceeded to sabatoge his attempt to sell the nice car to another reasonable adult.

Point being, if you don't have anything constructive to contribute to a member's ad (e.g. don't get a muzzlelite b/c it is a total piece of crap) why don't you just not post and let the guy trade with someone who wants to trade?

back the heck off of tredawg. One he is a moderator and deserves some respect. 2, he is obviously marketing this item to collectors and that is a target audience. I agree with Luv-My-Mini. But out if you aren't going to trade or buy. The only reason I'm posting is because the some of the comments here are uncalled for. Its like criticizing people for spending money on collecting old ammo boxes. ITS A FREE COUNTRY, as some of the above offenders are so quick to spout elsewhere on this site and you should be free to value whatever your little heart wants.

This mag is used in good condition. I doubt a little additional use would do much to the value. If it were a NIB never inserted mag then I would tend to agree.

BTW: I don't expect any special treatment due to my Mod. status. However I do expect all members to be free to post their wares for sale W/O comments from the peanut gallery.

If you don't like a member's price or wares please move on.

The only time it is appropriate to post negative comments in the Marketplace id when you have information regarding a sellers reputation. If he's a crook or liar please post it all caps to protect the other members. You should also notify one of the mods so his posts can be reviewed or removed.

I didn't even realize you were selling a muzzzlelite at the time. I was just using that as an example. I bought one from Bushmaster a couple years ago and paid full price so I am a little bitter about it. Anyway I would have left that sentence out if I had realized that you were trying to sell yours.
