Larry, it's good to see someone else supplying magazines to the shooting public. More choices are always better.
I do have one question, however:
Maryland law(last time I checked-please correct me if I'm wrong), allows the use and posession of magazines of no more than 20 round capacity, except for hunting.
Therefore, why are 20 round magazines not sold/shipped to maryland buyers?
It would seem you are cutting off potential sales?

I'll vouch for Larry and C Products, LLC although I've never done business with them.
They are VERY well known and highly regarded at www.ar15.com (http://www.ar15.com/).
IIRC The had some problems with their early USGI AR mags but they stood behind their product 100% until all the purchasers were made whole. That should tell you something about them.

Larry-
Normally we aren't responsive to someone who comes in just to advertise their wares, but your company has a good reputation.
We have supporting vendors on this site (they have a yellow star by their name) who contribute in various fashions. One can buy a yellow star subscription and then you can "pimp" to your hearts content (no offense intended!), or, like GunDoc did, auction off a good or service from time to time, donating the receipts to the BBS.
You ARE welcome to stay here, but please come back and answer some questions for the visitors of this site. You'll receive more advertising for your product the more you participate.

I was just reading their product pages, and it looks like it is legal to ship them to Maryland. Search on "Maryland" and you'll see the statements.

Hello Larry,
First, welcome to the BBS. :)
Any chance you all might be making Mini-14 magazines in the future?

Larry, Bill-
O.k.- You got me! I didn't see where it said Maryland shipping of 20 round mags was O.K.
My mistake, and I stand corrected.
Thanks again, guys!

Not a problem, we try and take care of those who can buy magazines.

Larry, I've added your company to the list of links in the AR forum. I've been away for a bit, building a new V-Twin to ride this year.

I looked at your web site and I've never used anything without the green followers. whats the difference between the green followers and your orange or grey ones? what kind of finish is that on your stainless steel magazines? i would love to try one out before buying over $25 dollars on them.
i buy bushmaster mags and like to spend the extra money for a name like bushmaster because I've had bad experience with mini14 magazines (this was before i had a AR and the mini 14 was also my first rifle)

It's my understanding that Bushmaster mags are standard mfg by D&H with a Bushmaster base plate added.
I have had good luck with the standard green followers, but I know a lot of guys are crazy over the MagPul followers etc.
I hope to write a review on C products mags for the BBS in near future.

You can buy new D&H 30's on arf.com for less than $10.00ea.
There's been a lot of unhappy people that have purchased D&H. Just look in the mag section on arf.com. I have about 1/2 dozen D&H and 1/2 of them need varying amounts of attention to make them run.
I'd suggest you give Larry and C Products a try.

I e-mailed Larry Sunday with a few questions and he replied with answers and a number to call. With customer service like this, I placed the order Sunday.
I ordered eight mags.

i have 3 bushmaster mags that run great. ive bump fired full mags with them without a problem. but i think if you dont load the magazine all the way up and the first round is to the left, the gun will jam when you slam the bolt closed. Thats my guess because i never actually figured out the reason and it only happened to me the first day i used them and i remember losing count when i loaded them up.
ill have to try them out. would you recommend the orange or grey followers? are they the same just different colors? stainless steel or chrome silicon springs?

I'm old school and prefer the standard anti-tilt green followers. These are the followers that see on the net for $.25 or so and they are standard equipment in most newer mags.
It's my understand that you mag capacity goes down by one or two rounds with the MagPull followers. Don't take my word for it because I've never owned them. I do know that the MagPull followers have garnered quite a loyal following so many people like them.

The magpul follower does not affect the capacity of the magazine. You can still load 30 rounds.

I moved this here from "For Sale - Magazines" but left a link in the For Sale section as well.
Holliday-
Their upgrade isn't the "old" green follower, it's the new GenII Magpul, which they sell in gray and orange, it appears.
I'm trying out the GenII Magpul right now, and it seems to be a GREAT improvement over the old green followers.... no tipping at all, great function.

I just loaded up a magazine rebuilt with the GenII Magpul and a replacement spring, and it loaded easily to 30 rounds. I also had no tipping at all during the loading process.

The magpul followers do not affect the capacity of the mag. One thing you might try that would change your mind about the magpul follower is take a loaded 30 round mag and drop it...the magpul will probably lose 1 round and be ready to fire while the green follower mag will lose 2-3 rounds and the rest will jam because the follower will tilt. This is the test performed by many law enforcement agencies.

What is the benefit of going with the "black mar-lube" option on you mags? Does this make the mags the same color as the receiver?
Will the gen 2 magul followers work just as well in a 20 without reducing capacity?
C Products, LLC

Ryan,
The black mar-lube is a very durable finish and it does match the lower.
The Gen II followers will work in a curved 20 only. They will not reduce the capacity.

what is 'tipping' ???
i ordered a few 30 rounders a few weeks ago, chrome silicon spring with genII magpul (the orange one)....haven't loaded one up and shot it yet, but it does look to be better construction than the 30 rounder bushmaster with green follower that came with my bushy ar15 when i bought it

The follower (orange in yours) can tip if not desined propperly. The old ones were metal I believe (a long time ago), then plastic. The current bushmaster green followers are supposed to be "anti-tip" design with little legs that come down from the bottom of the follower inside the mag that keep it level while it travels up and down as rounds are loaded/ unloaded, thus preventing jams. Most new followers, like your orange one from magpul, have even better features that make them far supperior IMO to any that have come before. I have had NO problems with my magpul followers and have replaced ALL of my green ones with them.
Kinda the down and dirty basic explination. Someone else might be able to afford more knowledge on this as far as specs and techs.
