also 2 man team match. 1 person had sniper; other containment and both have pistols
A lot of fun I've been doing this since 2002
Courses of fire vary from year to year and are a lot of fun!!(we've had movers at 200 and 400m; having to id shoot targets at 500m; shooting off simulated roof tops; shooting off chairs; shooting under low cars etc)
No stalking at this match; just the shooting portion

PROGRAM
Notes for Competitors
Commencing Friday practice day and prior to the start of the Championship on Saturday, all rifles and pistols shall be
inspected for compliance with the match rules as set out by the Match Committee. Firearms meeting the rules will have a
sticker applied to the rifle. All firearms used in the Championship must have the sticker on the firearm.
DAY ONE -Police Environment - Total Rounds - 60: HPS - 600 Points.
Match 1 - Under Simulated Vehicle
Distance - 50 Meters
Rounds - 5
Target - Single Bad Guy
Scoring - V-10-9-8-7
HPS - 50-5V
Course of Fire:
The competitor will adopt the prone position with the Rifle lying parallel to the ground pointing through the narrow opening
toward his target position. No artificial aids may be used. There will be 5 exposures of 4 seconds each with 8-10 seconds
between exposures. One shot will be fired per exposure. After the completion of the match, the targets will appear with red
shot indicators showing the bullet holes.
Scoring Procedure: The scores will then be radioed to the firing point and entered into the competitor’s score card. The
competitor must advise the RCO if there is any discrepancy between his score and placement of the red shot indicator plugs.
Match 2 - Expedient Position
Distance - 75 Meters
Rounds - 10
Target - 2 perpetrators and 1 hostage between them
Scoring - V- 5 points for hitting the perpetrator, minus 5 points for hitting the hostage and 0 points for a
miss.
HPS - 50-10V
Course of Fire:
The competitor will adopt a position straddling a folding chair while resting the rifle across the backrest. The back rest will
be closest to the target. The competitor may have his arm over the top of the backrest with the rifle on top of his arm or the
may rest the rifle directly on the top of the backrest. There will be 10 exposures of 3 seconds each with 5 - 8 seconds
between exposures. 1 shot per exposure. The competitor must shoot 5 rounds at each perpetrator.
Scoring procedure is the same as Match 1. A maximum of 5 rounds will be scored in each of the perpetrator targets.
Match 3 - Shooting under duress
Distance - 75 Meters
Rounds - 10

Course of Fire:
The competitor will put on a GAS MASK and adopt a kneeling or sitting position. No artificial aids may be used. The rifle
barrel is placed through the window pointing at the target. There will be 10 exposures of 3 seconds each with 5 to 8
seconds between exposures. 1 round will be fired per exposure. Gas mask will be provided to those who do not have one.
Scoring procedure is the same as Match 1.

Match 4 - Selective shooting
Distance - 100 Meters
Rounds - 5
Target - 5 Black Circles, largest circle being 1 1/2 inches and smallest circle being ¼ inch in diameter.
Scoring - 1 1/2 inch circle - 20 points: 1 inch circle - 40 points: ¾ inch - 60 points: 1/2 inch circle - 80
points and ¼ inch circle - 100 points.
HPS - 300 points.
Course of Fire:
The competitor will adopt the prone position. The competitor shall have 10 minutes to fire one shot only at each circle in
any order the competitor chooses. The competitor may stop at any time when he feels that he is not capable of hitting a
particular circle. The target will be scored at that time. If more than one shot hits any individual circle, the total score will be
zero.
Scoring procedure is same as Match 1.
Match 5
Distance - 125 Meters (Roof top shooting)
Rounds - 10
Target - 2 hostages with 1 perpetrator in the middle
Scoring - V-5. Minus 5 points for hitting either hostage. 0 points for a miss.
HPS - 50-10V
Course of fire
The competitor will adopt a position on the simulated roof with no artificial aids other than his ruck sack or drag bag His
partner may brace the competitor’sfeet with his. There will be 10 exposures of 3 seconds each with 5 to 8 seconds between
exposures. One round per exposure
Scoring procedure is same as Match 1.
Match 6 - Walking man
Distance - 200 Meters
Rounds - 10
Target - Fig 11/59 on a stick
Scoring - V-5-4-3-2
HPS - 50 -10V
Course of Fire:
The competitor will adopt the prone position .There will be 5 exposures moving left and 5 exposures moving right in
random order. The shooter will fire 1 round per exposure. The target will move over an 8 foot frontage. If the target is hit
before the end of travel, the target will be pulled.
Scoring procedure is same as Match 1.
Match 7 - Selective shoot/no shoot
Distance - 200 Meters(
Rounds - 10
Target - Shoot/No Shoot targets (2 x Figure 12c59). The Bad guy will have a Rifle).
Scoring - V-5-4. Minus 5 points for hits on the no shoot target.

Course of Fire:
Competitor will adopt the prone position using a SLING attached to the forward sling swivel or hand stop. There will be no
other support allowed. Rifle must be at least 6 inches off the ground, but not including butt portion. There will be 15
exposures of 5 seconds each with 10 to 15 seconds between exposures. Shooter will fire 1 shot per exposure of the bad guy
shoot only target. There will be 5 exposures of the no shoot target intermingled with the shoot target.
Scoring is the same as Match 1.
DAY 2 –Military Environment - Total Rounds - 60: HPS - 600 Points.
All military matches are 2 man teams. Match score is the combined score of each team member.
Match 1 - Snap shooting
Distance - 300 meters
Position - Low Hawkins
Target - Fig - 14
Rounds - 10 rounds per team member
HPS - 100- 20 V
Scoring - V-5-4
Course of Fire
This match has 2 Serials
Serial 1 - Team member number one will adopt the low Hawkins position. He will have 10 exposures of 3 seconds each
with 5-8 seconds between exposures. One shot per exposure. After the 10th exposure, the target will go down for 30
seconds. During this time the team members will change roles.
Serial 2 - After the 30 seconds, the target will appear and the match will commence as per serial 1 with team member
number 2 shooting.
Scoring procedure: Targets will be plugged with red shot spotters and shown to the team for examination for 30 seconds
after the completion of both serials. Scores will then be radioed to the firing point. The team members must advise the RCO
immediately if there are any discrepancies.
Match 2 - Snap shooting under duress
Distance - 300 meters
Position - Firing out of a trench with a GAS MASK on
Target - Fig 12c/59
Rounds - 10 per team member
Hps - 100-20V
Scoring - V-5-4
Course of Fire:
Same as Match 1 except team member shooting will be wearing a gas mask. One will be provided if they do not have their
own gas mask. Both feet must be on bottom of trench.
Scoring Procedure is the same as Match 1.
Match 3 - Target enriched environment
Distance - 300 meters (target enriched environment - W/O Marcin‘s favorite saying)
Position - Prone
Targets - 10 enemy soldiers with white 3 in. circles and 5 prisoners

mixed in with the enemy soldiers.
Rounds - 10 rounds per team member
HPS - 100
Scoring - 5 points per hit in the enemy soldier circles without touching it’s outer edge. Minus 5 points for
every hit on a prisoner. Zero points for a miss or touching the edge of the enemy soldier
circles.
Course of Fire:
Team shooter and Spotter will adopt the standing position with their rifle and gear lying on the ground. The Spotter will be
given a warning order by the RCO to shoot at a particular enemy soldier with their first shot. When the 4 Ft. Target frame
appears, both team members will adopt the prone position and while the shooter is loading his rifle, the spotter will observe
the target and direct the shooter in firing one round at the RCO designated enemy soldier. If the shooter does not hit the
designated enemy soldier, they will lose 5 points. This action will be confirmed by the butt’s staff. The spotter and shooter
after the first designated shot may then carry on shooting at the remaining enemy soldiers in any order they wish. Each team
member will fire a total of 10 rounds with 1 round per enemy soldier. The total combined time limit will be 10 minutes in
order to accomplish this task.
Example of a Warning Order by the RCO
1. “One of the enemies is a senior ranking officer disguised as a junior officer. You job is to find him and take him out
with the first shot”.
2. a. He is the officer with no sidearm, or
b. He is the officer with a drawn sidearm.
3. Follow the match instructions
Scoring Procedur is the same as Match 1.
Match 4 - Moving soldier
Distance - 400 meters
Position - Prone
Target - Fig 11/59
Rounds - 10 rounds per team member
Hps - 100-20V
Scoring - V-5-4-3-2
Course of Fire:
Serial 1 - There will be 5 moving soldier exposures left and 5 moving soldier exposures right, in random order, over an 8
foot frontage. One shot per exposure. After the 10th exposure, the target will go down for 30 seconds. During this time the
Team members will switch positions and prepare for serial 2.
Serial 2 - After the targets have been down for 30 seconds, the target will again appear as per serial 1. Upon completion of
the match both targets will be shown with plugs indicating hits for 30 seconds.
Scoring Procedure is the same as Match 1.
Match 5 - Selective targets
Distance - 500 meters
Position - Prone
Target - Shoot/No shoot Fig 12c/59
Rounds - 10 rounds per team member
Hps - 100-20V
Scoring - V-5-4
Course of Fire
Serial 1 - Team members will adopt the prone position. Team member shooting will be given 5 exposures of the shoot target
and 5 exposures of the no shoot target in random order. The team member shooting will fire 2 rounds per exposure in 10

seconds on the Shoot Target. There will be 5-8 seconds between exposures. After the 10th exposure, the team members will
have 30 seconds to switch roles and prepare for serial 2.
Serial 2 - After the 30 seconds, the target will appear and the match will commence as per serial 1 with Team member
number 2 shooting.
Scoring Procedure is the same as Match 1.
Match 6 - Agony shooting
Distance - 600 meters
Position - Prone
Target - Fig 11/59
Rounds - 10 per Team member
Hps - 100-20V
Scoring - V-5-4-3
Course of Fire:
Both team members will adopt the prone position. Both team members will have a total of 10 minutes to fire a total of 20
rounds. (10 rounds each). After the 10 minutes exposure, the target will go down to end the match.
Scoring Procedure is the same as Match 1.
Match 7 - 3 guns
Match 7 is a 3 Gun team match. This match is not included in any other aggregates in the 2 day championship.
Entry fee is $ 10 per Team
Each 2 Man Team must have the following firearms.
1 - Precision rifle
1 - Containment Rifle (i.e. - AR-15, HK Sig, Mini 14 etc.)
2 - Handguns not exceeding .45 Calibers.
Total Rounds per firearm - Precision Rifle - 15 rounds for 2 man team
- Containment Rifle - 30 rounds for 2 man team
- Handgun - 20 rounds each team member
Competitors will RV at the 600m Firing Point. The 2 man team will then be transported to the 25 Meter firing point.
Distance - 25 meters to 600 meters - Fire with Movement (Breaking Contact)
Positions and targets are as follows:

Course of fire:
25 meters - Both team members will cover off with their assigned target number and prepare all their magazines for the
match. The RCO will call “actions forward and apply a 10 round magazine”. Team members confirm the action and hammer
is in the forward position, then inserts the magazine into the handgun, and then holsters the handgun. When the RCO is
satisfied all team members are ready, he will start the match.
The figure 12/59 will appear with 10 exposures of 3 seconds, with 5-8 seconds between exposures. Each Team member will
fire 1 round per exposure for a total of 10 rounds each. After last exposure, targets will stay down for 60 seconds at which

time team members will confirm the action and hammer is forward and then insert a 5 round magazine and holster the pistol
(Pistol must not be cocked). Pick up all gear and prepare to move. The target will appear for 1 second as the signal to move
back to 50 meters.
50 meters - Target will appear after 60 seconds. Both team members will draw their handgun and have a total of 30 seconds
to fire 2 x 5 round magazines from the standing position. Team members will have 60 seconds to clear their handgun,
holster the handgun and prepare to move. A target will appear for 1 second as a signal to move to 100 meters.
100 meters - After 90 seconds, the figure 11/59 will appear for 30 seconds moving over an 8 foot frontage. The containment
team member will fire 10 rounds in the 30 second time period from standing position. Target will go down for 60 seconds at
which time the containment team member will make rifle safe, and then change magazine, and prepare to move to 200
metes. A target will appear for 1 second as signal to move to 200 meters.
200 meters - After 90 seconds, the figure 12/59 will appear for 5 exposures of 5 seconds each. The containment team
member will fire 2 rounds per exposure from the sitting position. After the 5th exposure the target will stay down for 60
seconds at which time the containment team member will make safe and change magazine and prepare to move to 300
meters. A target will come up for 1 second as a signal to move back to 300 meters.
300 meters - After 90 seconds, a figure 12/59 will appear for 10 seconds at which time the containment team member will
fire 10 rounds from prone position. Target will stay down for 60 seconds at which time the containment team member will
unload and clear his rifle in preparation to move. A target will come up for 1 second as signal to move to 400 meters.
400 meters - After 90 seconds, a figure 11/59 will appear at which time the Precision Rifle team member will have 5
exposures of 5 seconds each. The team member will fire 1 round per exposure from the sitting or kneeling position.
Precision team member will make his rifle safe to move. After 60 seconds, a target will appear for 1 second as a signal to
move to 500 meters.
500 meters - After 90 seconds, a Figure 11/59 will appear at which time the Precision rifle Team member will fire 5 rounds
in 30 seconds from the prone position. The Precision Rifle team member will make his rifle safe to move. After 60 seconds,
a target will appear for 1 second as signal to move to 600 meters.
600 meters - After 90 seconds, a figure 11/59 will appear for 1 minute, at which time the Precision Rifle team member will
fire 5 rounds from the prone. All firearms and all magazines will be shown to RSO and cleared before leaving the firing
point.
Note. This is a Live Fire with Movement Competition and as such during movement, pistols will be holstered and rifles will
be pointing down range. Any safety infractions will disqualify the team from this match.
