Great deal you go there!
I have only one word of caution for you based on my own experience. We were shooting a friends scout not to long ago and we heated up the barrel pretty good while doing rapid sets of double tapps at close quearter targets. We failed to note that the barrel optic mount is directly attached to the barrel and allowed all of its heat to transfer directly to the $400 aimpoint red dot he had on it. We cooked that sucker and ruined it in about 15 minutes of rough use with quick 20 round mag changes. Just a word of caution from a guy who felt REALY guilty for cooking his friends glass. I ended up giving him $200 as my share of the damage just because I felt so bad.

That sounds like a design flaw in what could be considered a combat rifle, which is marketed as a tactical or police weapon.
TC
I would say the design flaw was in the optic which could not handle normal use temperatures.
Here's a new pic of mine. I'm getting a regular handguard and taking off the scout rail. The dot is a Burris XTS with low ring...... This rifle is THE CATS A$$
