I'm thinking about a Rem. 7400 in 30.06. What kind of accuracy can I expect from this semi auto?

The first centerfire rifle I ever owned waaaay back over 20 years ago was a Remington 7400 in 30/06. It would shoot about 2 to 2 and 1/2 inch 100 yard groups with factory ammo. It would not feed my reloads at all, even full length sized. So I traded it for a Winchester model 70 in same caliber.

I have a Rem. 7600 in 30.06. I can get just under 2 inch groups at 100 with no problem using cheap factory 165 gr. ammo.

Ditto on the accuracy. Around 2 inch at 100yds w/Rem CoreLokt 150 gr SPs. The only ammo I've ever used and no problems since '83.
