After Marlin failed on their promise to put out a .480 a subsidery of Howa--weatherby of Japan--is putting out a lever action Puma(tm) in .480.I have purchased one to go with my Super Redhawk of the same caliber--so far so good.Time will tell.

Let us know how it is and how it perfroms. I know myself and my brother have considered thier .454 model. funny how the major names and big contendors in the firarms market don't offer these types of longguns but the little "lesser quality" brands as many call them step up and put it on the table.

The more I use it the better it gets.Have been useing slide guide --light greese-on lever and rack it about 50 times a night. Getting very smooth.
