Wierd gun on ebay

Check this out. Looks pretty old. The guy says he bought it 35 or 45 years ago and doesn't really know what it is. A toy maybe?

Yes, it looks like a very old toy gun. Perhaps some sort of CAP gun.

I have seen old track "start" blank pistols that look similar to that... but it is probly a toy.

The scroll work on it looks raised, like it was stamped out of sheet metal or something. Prolly a cap gun.
