I love it!!! I need to get another SKS. I have WON 2 on a punch board, on two different occasions and got rid of both of them. At once, I has the paratrooper that Norinco made that took AK mags. I cant believe I swaped it away. I do not swap guns anymore.

Thanks Swordslinger. I just got done shooting this one this evening and everything is working great.
I am 6'5" tall and have trouble getting some of my rifles to fit. With the Tapco stock I can adjust it out to the perfect length. It has 6 adjustment slots. So far this SKS shoots quite well in the 100 to 200 yard range. I have not shot out beyond that so far.... :sniper:

Rugerluvr,

What magazine do you have?
Any feed issues?

I purchased two from sportsmans guide http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=97234

I expected to have feed problems and of couse they did not feed right out of the bag. Since I just love to tinker with these things I tweeked the feed rails at the top so they were even. I then pulled out the spring, stretched it out to give it more power and put it all back together again.....I have now fired about 500 rounds through these mags with no problems at all.

I think that the weak springs are the biggest problem with these mags. I also think that if a person had access to some cheep AK mags he could maybe swap out the better AK springs for the soft ones and solve the problem forever. I have not had to do this since they have been working just fine.

I just love shooting this gun!!!! I love to shoot it so much that I ordered 1000 more rounds of Wolf ammo.
