View Full Version : Just got a new BSA sweet 17
I just got a new BSA Sweet 17 3-12X40.
Im kinda confused on how to use, i looked through the directions but i am still a little confused
Does any one know of any sites or anywhere that explains the bsa sweet 17 in full cuz my directions were kind of short
Any help would be great thanks
Mount the scope to the rifle. You can boresight it or just start shooting at 100 yards and dial the elevation and windage adjustments to get the system set at 100 yards. After it's "dialed-in" loosen the set screws on the elevation, top, turret and set the dial so the "100" is inline with the index mark on the scope. Tighten the set screws. BE CAREFUL!!!! You might strip the socket in the screw. The wrench you have may not fit as well as it should. I've found that a 2mm allen fits better than the one they send.
Loosen the windage knob set screws and set it to "0" with the index mark on the scope. Tighten the set screws. Put the cap back on the windage adjustment and you're ready to go.
Hope this helps. If not, I'll try it again. I moved this to the Scope forum as it pertains to a scope question.
