Israel: The Adulteries of the Faithless.

Abraham is indeed the Father of the Promise. The next step of “unlearning” is to verify that the promises made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob applies to the people that are today known as “God’s Chosen People”. But first we must go through a little more history. A history tainted with harlotry and faithlessness.

Jacob’s name was changed to Israel, meaning “he will rule as God”. Jacob/Israel’s son formed what is know in the Old and New Testaments as “The Tribes of Israel”. The 12 sons of Israel (Jacob) were: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher and Joseph. These were the ancestors of the original twelve tribes. However, Reuben lost his rights as firstborn by defiling Jacob’s bed (Genesis 35:22; 49:3-4). In Reuben’s place, Joseph’s two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, became tribes of Israel (Genesis 48:5-6). As a result, the twelve tribes became Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Benjamin, Dan, Naphtali, Gad, Asher, Ephraim and Manasseh. In some lists, Levi is not mentioned because Levites were assigned to serve at the temple and therefore where not apportioned land of their own in Israel (Joshua 14:3).

One very important event took place when Jacob/Israel passed the birthright blessings on to Joseph’s sons, Ephraim and Manasseh.

1 “And it came to pass after these things, that one told Joseph, Behold, thy father is sick: and he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.
2And one told Jacob, and said, Behold, thy son Joseph cometh unto thee: and Israel strengthened himself, and sat upon the bed.
3And Jacob said unto Joseph, God Almighty appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me,
4And said unto me, Behold, I will make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, and I will make of thee a multitude of people; and will give this land to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.
5And now thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuben and Simeon, they shall be mine.
6And thy issue, which thou begettest after them, shall be thine, and shall be called after the name of their brethren in their inheritance.” Genesis 48:1-6
This was an adoption of his grandsons into the birthright blessings. Meaning that they were the same as if they were born unto Jacob, and they descendants would be called Israel. We continue in Genesis 48:
8 “And Israel beheld Joseph's sons, and said, Who are these?
9And Joseph said unto his father, They are my sons, whom God hath given me in this place. And he said, Bring them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will bless them.
10Now the eyes of Israel were dim for age, so that he could not see. And he brought them near unto him; and he kissed them, and embraced them.
11And Israel said unto Joseph, I had not thought to see thy face: and, lo, God hath shewed me also thy seed.
12And Joseph brought them out from between his knees, and he bowed himself with his face to the earth.
13And Joseph took them both, Ephraim in his right hand toward Israel's left hand, and Manasseh in his left hand toward Israel's right hand, and brought them near unto him.
14And Israel stretched out his right hand, and laid it upon Ephraim's head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh's head, guiding his hands wittingly; for Manasseh was the firstborn.
15And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day,
16The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.
17And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand upon the head of Ephraim, it displeased him: and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head unto Manasseh's head.
18And Joseph said unto his father, Not so, my father: for this is the firstborn; put thy right hand upon his head.
19And his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it: he also shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his seed shall become a multitude of nations.
20And he blessed them that day, saying, In thee shall Israel bless, saying, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh.” Genesis 48:8-20

This is a very important prophecy, one of many that we will examine more closely in the pages to come. I will say this, this is clearly a prophecy of two nations, very closely related, with one “greater” than the other. The flag of Great Britain is commonly know as “Union Jack”, (Union of Jacob) and has the cross bars, symbolic of Jacob/Israel’s crossed arms. In fact the word “British” is derived from the Hebrew. “Brith” or “Brit” means “covenant” and “ish” means “man”; Brit-ish means “covenant man”. The “H” sound is often dropped, just as “Shemitic” is pronounced “Semitic”.

After the death of Joseph, there arose a Pharaoh that enslaved the twelve tribes. Before or during their captivity, the tribe of Dan left Egypt in ships. Historians agree that Greece was barbarous until a very civilized group of setters came from Egypt, but were not Egyptians, but aliens expelled by the Egyptians. These people were called the “Danioi”, the seafarers of the tribe of Dan. This was approximately the date of their Exodus from Egypt. Also around this date, Ireland was conquered by highly civilized group that arrived by sea, known as the “Tuatha De Danaan” or “Tribe of Dan” that ruled there for 200 hundred years or so. We do have a Scriptural reference as to Dan being a seafaring tribe.

“Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches” Judges 5:17

There was also another migration out of Egypt from the Royal Judah lines of Zara, and Pharez. Judah who was to be the scepter tribe, was the father of two twin sons that both felt they had right to the scepter.

10 “The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.” Genesis 49:10

This was such an important matter that the Bible records the event in detail.

27 “And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb.

28And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.
29And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.
30And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.” Genesis 38:27-30

Apparently Zarah, known as the “scarlet thread line”, left Egypt during the time of the bondage; One of the sons of Zarah, Calcol taking some directly to Ireland. Many of the Darda line, (Darda was also a son of Zarah) settled themselves along the “Darda-nelles” and the “Hebrus” River in ancient Thrace. This is the branch of Darda that founded ancient Troy. The Trojans were destroyed by these “Danoi” from Greece about 1100 BC. The descendants of Zarah were very wise. So wise that Solomon’s wisdom was compared to theirs.
“For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda,….” I Kings 4:21

Dan was to be as a serpent’s trail.
“Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward” Genesis 49:17

Dan has been as a serpent in his wanderings. When you look upon a map you can see Dan’s trails such as; The Danube, Denmark, The Danes, The Danoi, The Tuatha De Danaan, Scandinavia, and others that you can find on your own.
After the destruction of Troy, the Trojan king, Brut migrated to the Isles of what is now known as “Britain”. In fact, he founded the ancient city of Lud. It is the city now known as London.

These were among the first migrations of Israel. Why has this knowledge of the earlier migrations taught in Sunday school? It has been know for some time. I recently found some direct ancestors that had directly descended from many of the Royal Houses of Europe. They have traced and have known that their ancestors go all the back through David, King of Israel, to Abraham, and even to Adam!

This is not a “new” teaching. Why have we not been told the truth? Perhaps it is because the first migrations were of the Royal Scepter Tribe of Judah? Could there be someone, or some group that would want this kept secret? Yes, there is a group that wishes to keep this a secret, and they have worked very hard since they slithered up into the positions of Priesthood. Is it possible that we have been blinded as a fullfilment of prophecy?
The rest of the tribes with the rest of Dan that escaped from Egypt with Moses watched as the waters closed in on Pharaoh and his SWAT teams. And when they entered the desert, God made a covenant with them if they would obey Him. And they said as a whole;

8 “And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.” Exodus 6:19

This was a wedding ceremony, no doubt about it. No sooner had they made this covenant with the Lord YHVH, while Moses was on the mountain top, they began their Idolatrous harlotry. Why so quickly? Why, when they had witnessed the screams as the Destroyer took the lives of the first born of Egypt? Why, when they witnessed the plagues brought on by the Word of the great I Am? I believe the answer lies within this one verse.

38 “And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.” Exodus 12:38

Ahhh… Now we see what soon becomes a trend for the tribes that sprang from the loins of Jacob/Israel, those to whom the promises given to Abraham had fallen. In the book of Deuteronomy chapter 28, the second giving of the Law, The Lord promises to bless Israel if they obey His Divine Law, and to severely punish them if they did not. It would do the reader good to read the entire chapter 28 to see if they can see if they recognize any of the blessings, and curses that are evident among certain peoples today.

Isreal had a very nasty habit of “doing evil in the site of the Lord”.

“And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim” Judges 2:11 (Serving the Canaanite god Baal.)

“And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves. Judges 3:7

“And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD...” Judges 3:12

“And the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead.” Judges 4:1

“And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.” Judges 6:1

“And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and served not him” Judges 10:6

“And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years” Judges 13:1

Can you see a pattern here? And even after they entreated God to let them have King’s “like all of the other nations”, they continued in their Adulteries.
“And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father” I Kings 11:6

After Solomon, the twelve tribes had a dispute, and the ten northern tribes “seceded” from the union. From that point on, they were known as the House of Israel, (the ten northern tribes) and the House of Judah (the two southern tribes of Benjamin, and Judah)

“And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.” I Kings 14:22

“And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.” I Kings 16:30

The “same ole, same ole” continues, over and over until the Father in Heaven has no other Choice but to keep His Word, and deliver the punishment that he had promised in Deuteronomy 28. He was hurt because of her adulteries, grieved to the heart, even to the point of divorce.

“Thus saith the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.” Isaiah 50:1

The Lord kept His promise to the Ten Northern tribes of Israel, and sent her into the Assyrian Captivity in 745 BC. It began with the tribes of Rueben, Gad, and half of the tribe of Manasseh.
25 “And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
26And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this day.” II Chronicles 5:26
The clock had run out, the Husband’s wrath against the thoughtless whore of a wife had been kindled. He stood by as she committed her harlotry right under His nose! She didn’t even bother to hide it any more. This was only the beginning of his wrath.
11 “And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:
12Because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD their God, but transgressed his covenant, and all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded, and would not hear them, nor do them.” II Kings 18:11-12 (Remember the marriage ceremony in Exodus, when they said, “We will do”?)

The king of Assyria not only took the ten northern tribes of the House of Israel, but also most of the House of Judah as well.
13 “Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them”. II Kings 18:13

This is what is often not recognized among Bible scholars, it was not only the House of Israel’s ten northern tribes that “disappeared”, but a very large portion of Judah was counted among their numbers as well. It was terrible time for Israel. King Sennacherib impaled the Israelites all along the road to Assyria, and all the other Israelites marched pass their kin who were hanging, some still alive in agony. And there was nothing they could do.
But He had made the promise that His anger would not burn forever. He promised to show His mercy, and called her back to Him.
6 “The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.
7And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me. But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
9And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
10And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.
11And the LORD said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
12Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.”
Though her “treacherous sister Judah, continued in her adulteries, YHVH the Heavenly Father did not divorce her. He did keep His promise to punish, just as he said he would if she didn’t clean up her act.
1 “Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
2And he did that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
3For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
4And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it, and built forts against it round about.
5So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
6And in the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
7Then the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden; (now the Chaldeans were by the city round about:) and they went by the way of the plain.
8But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.
9Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him.
10And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
11Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.” Jeremiah 52:1-11
The very last thing that Zedekiah saw was his hiers to the throne being slaughtered. The king of Babylon thought that by slaying the princes of the House of Judah that would stop the Royal Line dead in its tracks. Our Heavenly Father is always one step up on the Adversary. The Throne of David would NOT be empty. (Jeremiah 33:17)

It seems as if the door has slammed shut, and the people of Israel had provoked the God of their fathers to destroy them completely. He was hurt. His heart was filled with so much sorrow that He commander Hosea the Prophet to marry a common whore named Gomer so that when he spoke to God’s people, he would know from the heart how the Heavenly Father felt. But after telling His Prophet exactly what He was going to do, He again made the promise that He would once again reunite with His True love.
“….for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.
7But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by the LORD their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.
8Now when she had weaned Loruhamah, she conceived, and bare a son.
9Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
10Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
11Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.” Hosea 1:6-11

There are a people today that are said to be “not his people”. There is a nation that has come together from all over the world in the greatest mass migration the planet has ever seen. They came under the banner of Christ, and they called themselves “a vine out of Egypt”, “a wandering band of Jacobites” and the “children of Abraham”. They called the New land that they were flooding to, “The New Jerusalem”. Yet today most of them do not know who they are. They have been blinded in part, but now are awakening. They have been under Esau’s yoke, but the promised time quickly approaches that they will be known the world over as the “Sons of the Living God”!

It is interesting that in the ad banners above, this site popped up. This is a friend of mine, E. Raymond Capt, and we have shared the same podium on at least two different occasians. I recommend his material for more in depth studies on the subject, and quote his writings frequently in my book. :) It is the link that says;
