My best friend and I had a great hunt this weekend in north central nebraska. My friend's friends have land and know a lot of people who do as well. They let us stay at their house, made contacts for us, and we had a blast. I killed 5 birds, out of my 2 day limit of 6. Not bad for warm weather conditions....We saw lots of birds, but they were on the move since it was so warm. I can't wait until it gets cold, and we have about 3 inches of snow on the ground. :) The dog is a German Short hair, and belongs to my friend Brock. He is three years old, and does very well in the field. I wish I had contacts for pheasant hunting grounds closer to where I live...instead of having to drive 2 hours. But it was worth it! Great hunt, great times, great friends; it feels great to be outdoors and to enjoy my freedom! :usa: :ar15: :D Mark
