Magpul Followers

Anybody replace their followers with AR followers? I know they won't hold the bolt but the magpul high reliablilty followers look really good. Unfortunately all the crappy mags I bought during the ban don't have removable floor plates.

You can get followers for the mini from Ruger or Brownells.

What kind of mags don't have removeable floor plates? The plastic mags such as Thermold are the only ones I know.

Actually, Thermold magazines do have removable floor plates.

I tried adapting an ARF follower to fit in a Mini-14 magazine, and couldn't get it to work. The shape of the front of the mag is very different. The ARF mags don't taper at the front like Mini mags do.
