Hi guys,

What's the proper way to install a front sight hood? I thought it might just snap on over the sight blade but it doesn't seem work. What do you advise?

I wouldn't put it on if the finish of the rifle is decent because you'll scatch it putting it on. it is a real tight fit.

Put the rifle sight down on top of the inverted sight hood and give the bottom of the barrel a sharp rap with a rubber mallet. Do this on a padded surface such as a piece of carpet on a work bench. A little grease wouldn't hurt! HTH.
