View Full Version : Mini-14 30rd Polymer Mags from Natchez
:usa: Has anyone bought any of the 30rd polymer mags fron Natchez,if so are they thermolds or some other type, and how well do they feed or any other problems with them.
Thanks! :sniper:
I assume you meant these:
ZMRUGA4 Price: $12.99
But since you didn't provide a link, I have no way to be certain.
These are new production ProMag polymer 30's. They are similar to Thermolds, and feed and function perfectly in all of my Mini-14's.
Thermold is the name of a specific manufacturer. They were driven out of business about 10 years ago by the Assault Weapons Ban.
The only true Thermolds you are going to find will be used, or new old stock. They tend to go for about $35-$45 each.
True Thermolds are excellent magazines.
Keep in mind that with any polymer magazine, you will have to cycle the bolt several times to wear the feedlips in to your rifle. Until the feedlips are worn a bit, the magazine will cause FTF's. This is normal.
Thanks, that is what i needed to know i didn't word my post right what i meant was the thermold type, i knew that they had stopped production of the originals,i just needed some info from someone that had used them before i threw any money down on them.
Again Thanks! :usa:
