I just got one of these for my cousins Ar-15 and it seemed well made and loaded easy and no jams.I also called the mwg 1-800 number and talk to a salesman who was nice and gave alot of info on the drum.My first mini 14 came with one of these back in 1995 and I remeber besides my factory mag it was the only mag that woudl work and lock up tight in the rifle?Any of you guys bought one and tried it yet? Also has anyone noticed that Ruger factory 20 mags are easier to find right now and much lower prices that last december.I saw some for $25 today.Paid $42 Last fall for some?Ruger has to be letting them come out or the leo supply would have dried up last year?

Hi WhiteWulf, I can't help you with the drum mag, but I was wondering where you found the factory mags for $25? I would like to find some for that price.

Thanks,

Hey WhiteWulf, I bought one of the drums right after they first came out, way before the ban. I love it. I used it quite a bit when I first got it and they are plenty fun. After the new wore off I put it up for SHTF day and have not realy used it since. Just remember to not use oil on it, dry lube only, and don't lose the chargeing handle. Oh yeah, when it's been to long and you need to check function and run a load of ammo through it don't blister any fingers on a hot barrel!!!!

found this on the web, interesting looking. All you need is the adapter so it will lock in the mag well, but that is jsut as much as the drum itself

Just hold off untill Beta releases thier Mini-14 feed towers.

I predict they will be in the $25.00 range from Beta.
