There she is!
Let me know what you think.

I have the sling around the stock, becuase it's a 3-point sling, and I want it to hang Top Side Up, if I hook it under the bipod, where it belongs, it's top side down. Any other way I can make it hang correctly?

Thank you, Signed,

Great looking 10/22 you have.

I have four of them myself, and love em all!

I'm not much into slings myself, but I thought I would give you my 2 cents about your nice rifle!

Good Shooting!

Nice looken 10/22 you have there. It is difficult with a scope to have the sling on the top. The guards at work carry their rifles 2 ways:
1. Carry rifle slung over left shoulder muzzle down with left hand grasping the stocks fore arm. To draw they bring their left hand grasping the fore stock fwd, and at the same time rotating the left hand so it comes into the ready, while the right hand grasps the pistol grip. Very fast.
2. Carry the rifle slung across the body in the front with muzzle down. Can be brought to the ready quickly.

When hunting for rabbit, I sometimes use #1, when I get tired caring the rifle all day or it is sprinkling and I want to keep the water out of the barrel.

A safety reminder to anyone reading this: Always keep safety "on" till your ready to fire. An innocent bump on the trigger or it hangs on a piece of clothing or gear could result in a bad accident.

I never put my finger in the trigger till I'm ready to fire. I have tripped and fallen a few times.

Case in point: When I was in the Marine Corp. We were doing our 3-day war (training) another Marine and Me was running thru the woods to avoid capture. We were caring M-14's. My bootlace came untied and I tripped. My buddy right behind me tripped also. When he tripped his rifle fired and would have killed me was it not for the blank rounds we had loaded. He shot me in the groin with the plastic plug at about 3 feet. It hurt. He had violated the above 2 rules of safety, and I paid the price. Sorry guys I'll get off my soap box. ;)

Would that Damage the scope, or just put it off sight?

No I don't believe your top mounted sling would damage the scope, but it might bump it and cause it to be off. Also when you sight down it you may see part of the sling.

I agree, the black ones look much better. Almost looks like metal.

Very nice - and I can see why you have the bi-pod - to make sure the magazine will clear the ground when you shoot....Nice job... :P
