Has anyone tried the new Ram-Line Polymer 30rd Magazine that Midway USA is currently selling? I had a Ram-Line plastic mag back in 1993 and it suffered from two problems: a weak spring and a seam weld that didn't hold. I ultimately had to discard the magazine when it split in half. I'm wondering if Ram-Line has made any improvements since then.

I had some from the mid 80's that worked just fine.

I got one just before the 1994 ban that did all the things Ramlines are famous for.

I think QA took a nosedive in the year or so before the ban.

I have NO idea about the new ones.

Any more word on the new Ram-Line mags?

BTW: what were they famous for?

Got a link?

I just searched their site for 'ramline mini-14" and got a bunch of stocks, a handguard, and a flash hider, but no magazines...

Splitting at the seams and cracking around the feed lips. Basically, they usually worked for a short while and then self-destructed.
