I see a LOT of you folks have the 6 position stocks mounted... this rifle HAD a Rock River Arms 6 position stock... personally, its not my cup of tea... It was OK... but I MUCH preferred the Ace ARFX style skeleton stock...
Let me know what ya think. :)
(I traded two saiga shotguns and a hundred bucks for this... from Alex Wakal, one of the 20 gauge shotties is earmarked for Mr. Jerry Miculek... I am sure he will enjoy that very much! )
Forged DPMS upper and lower, extended/tall upper receiver.
Stainless 1-9 18" barrel, .750 under the handguard, .740 forward (threaded 1/2-28)
F2 compensator (according to Beven Grams, this is the best off-the-shelf AR compensator on the market...).
ACE ARFX skeleton stock. (Replacing the RRA 6 position M4 stock)
DPMS internals
JP springs installed on polished parts for a 4-pound smooth trigger.
Badger Ordnance extended charging handle latch
Power Custom extended/checkered magazine button

I have shot sub 1" groups with 10 (TEN) rounds, with the forearm off a wooden v-rest at the local shooting range... and better sub MOA groups off sandbags...all at 100M.
I tried about 6 different flavors... likes the Black Hills the best. Both the 52g. match HP moly coated, and the 68g. heavy match HP.
It shot the winchester 45g. JHP, 55g. PSP well, didnt like the 62g. FMJ, though..
It seemed to really like the American Eagle 50g. flat base HP, but I only had 20 rounds of that... so after 2 groups, I was out...
Unfortunately after about 250 rounds of ammo thru it she was starting to get kinda grumpy and fussy... needed a GOOD cleaning so I wasnt able to REALLY get down and dirty with grouping accuracy.
It will bullseye starlings out to 250M about 3 out of 5...
I was REALLY ****ed, though.. this is kinda funny... had a BRAND NEW boresnake, to clean between groups... I snaked it down thru... after only using it TWICE...laid the gun on the bench... accidently hit the bolt release...*SCHINK*.... Guess what I just CUT IN HALF?!?!?!?!? ROFL!!!! I got home and stitched it back together... so its all good.. but DAMN I was hot at the range after that! LOL
Nice rifle. Sounds like it an accurate shooter. I'm getting more and more questions about DPMS's new stuff. Maybe you could tell us of any pro's and con's on them.

Well, so far I have only had it a few weeks...And I have only ever shot two other AR's EVER, both a friend of mines, also recent aquisitions, one of those is also DPMS...
The fit and finish seem to be excellent...
I KNOW that while running a boresnake thru a hot barrel, you dont want to accidentally release the bolt release... or you get a new design TWO PIECE bore snake! LOL
it doesnt seem to jam up bad, until I start to run about a hundred rounds of wolf thru it... then it gets all sluggish...but with normal ammo... it seems to shoot consistently well...
I dont know what else to mention offhand, as I am not that experienced with the AR rifles yet....Gimme time! :D
ANY questions, I will be happy to answer them, though!
I'd steer clear of the Wolf ammo. The laquer just creates problems.

Does that DPMS use a match grade barrel?
