USA Mags?

i just got back from johns mountain again, just a little bit more sawing off of the recoil buffer and i will be set! the 30rnd steel mag i got from CDNN works flawlessly!

so i just ordered 3 ten rounders from them too...looks like they have the same acceptor...so i think they should be good.

brand is USA mags....anyone tried them with the .30?

I used to have a couple USA brand mags and they were junk. i could never get through a whole mag with any of them. Looks like you got a good one.

don't know about the 223, but my USA 20&30 work perfectly in my mini-30. So far they are the best quality hi-cap I have seen (sorry, don't have the money to try Thermolds). Break-in period is less than 50rd, after that no problem what so ever.

On the other hand, the 10rd Promag took over 100rd before it fed properly. I guess the really strong new spring created too much pressure and prevents the bolt from going all the way into battery during the first 3 rounds. After the break-in everything seem fine.

the only mags that work consistently in my 30 are USA ten rounders.

yeah, im just going to trash the three plastic mags i have and stick to the metal ones...
