I bought 4 of the 20 RD Mason Mags because the price was so good,I dont know why because I dont need them I have several factory 20 RD Mags. The first one I tried out worked great so I assumed they were all the same.I went over to my cabin to mow and took one of my Mini-14's along. And the 4 Mason Mags to go ahead and shoot them so I can put them with the good Mags,I thought. The other 3 Mags would not lock up tight enough for the slide to grab a cartridge as it went forward. It was obvious that was the problem, they just werent locking up tight enough to hold the cartridges high enough for the Bolt to catch. So I ended up with 1 good Mason 20 RD out of 4.Now I will have to check out all the Mason 10 RD Mags I have? :usa:

Darn the luck. Will they exchange them or give you your money back? If not don't throw them away. Do the guncats mod:

The mod only work if the mag won't lock in the gun.
If the problem is the rear of mag is too low when locked then the only way to go around is adding something to the locking lug so it will extend a little lower. might not be a simple mod.

Try adding a bit of JB Weld to the bottom of the mags rear lug, then file it down until it locks in.
