I scored 6 original Thermold Mini-14 mags at a gun show today. The guy was selling ARF parts, and didn't know what these mags fit.
I got all six for a total of $75!!!!

It sure pays to stay alert at a gun show!

bwraven, good deal! What is the part number on the base plate for this mag?

The baseplate reads "PAT. NO. 4139959"

The lower left side of the mag body reads:
"Thermold"
"D. & D. INC."
"WILSON, N.C."
"U.S.A."

and "H"

The lower right side of the mag body reads:
"89" with 5 little dots
and "1" above an "H"

Thank you, I now know what to look for sure. I purchased a Thermold 2 years ago and it has the same P/N, I just wasn't sure it was a true Thermold and that one was $35.00. So you did score a good/great deal, Congrats, Hasbro
