Nice AR. You need to get a flash hider on that thing. :D

yea, but i dunno yet the muzzle break makes alot of damn noise but i like it. I would change it out with a phantom flash hider though i just dont know how to go about doing that since the muzzle break is welded on.

www.adcofirearms.com is well respected on the AR boards and should be able to fix you up if you ever want to put a phantom on it

Very nice AR...what type of device is that, that allows you to put a bipod on?

im starting to wonder if the leupold 3-9x33mm scope is too much for a bushy M4...

i hate not being able to make up my mind. its a endless money pit!!

edit- I think im keeping the muzzle break on it, i really like it actually.
to get the bipod on i just had to get the harris bipod adapter that went with it. The bipod kind takes up alot of the handguard but other then that i really like it.

Very nice and its only the people around you that object on the muzzle sound. I find mine very pleasant to shoot - and the shooter next to me at the range will just have to put up with the sound. :D - .
I always wondered why you would want a bipod on a short carbine - but tried one on mine - and when you learn how to sit fast - jerk it down and place it on your knee or the ground - very steady and really makes the carbine a better shooting weapon - well - makes this shooter better.....
How does it group ??

I use my AR with the muzzle break plus a magnum revolver on ranges where I want the range all to myself. Within about 5 mins of shooting these guns, the range mysteriously clears out for some reason.................. :D

ah, last time i took it out it didnt group too well. I dont know if its me or if i need to tinker with the scope some more.

not only can you hear a big boom with the muzzle break but you can feel it too. when i first got the rifle way back, i took it out plinking. I thought it would make about the same amount of noise as my mini14 makes. so i figured it wouldnt do any harm to shoot my first couple rounds without earplugs. Ill never do that again.

Ive kinda gave her another make over.

Aimpoint ML2
Vindicator grip

i shot it last weekend, i couldnt be more happy with the new grip and the aimpoint makes it much more exciting to shoot for some reason.

sorry for the crap quality of the picture.

Looks good. How's the AimPoint working out for you? Let us know a battery life report on that sight. I do want to know if it lasts 100,000 hours as claimed (of course l'll be 40 at that point!)

I love the Aimpoint, I actually dont mind the 4moa dot. this is the first red dot sight ive owned and it makes the gun a riot to shoot, no wonder all you guys get them.

That battery life report wont be soon lol

AR Update, I added ARMS #40 flip sight.

Ive went shooting twice last weekend and haven't used it yet. i dont know how to go about sighting it in, so i lined it up with the dot on my aimpoint and called it good for now. I might get a daniel defence handguard in the future but i havent made up my mind.

I have my gun sighted in for 50 yards, should i sight it in for 25 yards? what do you guys sight your carbines in at?

My M4 Owns both of yours...

Scope sighted in at 100 yards - MOA of 1/2" shot groups . Laser at 50- yards - MOA of 1/4 shot groups.

P.S. Use a pistol at 25- yards.

What is MOA of 1/2" shot groups? Or, Laser at 50-yards-MOA of 1/4 shot groups?
Math may not be my best subject, but this has me stumped.
:sniper:
Holliday- nice rifle. Looks like you care very much about it's functionality and purpose.

Holliday

Both pictures are the same rifle but i put the bipod on in the second picture. the point of sighting the rifle in at 25 yards is thats the battle sight zero for AR's says the manual and thats what I've heard suggested for aimpoints and holosights.

thanks for the compliments!

are you talking about your mini?

thats one hell of a mini14, i have a mini14 it was my first rifle ever and one of my favorites, i never shoot it though. i put my leupold scope on it, back in december and havent even sighted it in yet.

blackops, you need to ditch the carry handle and the bushnell to get 1/2 moa :D

Why do you post this in the AR 15 forum? I`ve got an ASI Mini too so what?

I sight my M4 in at 50 yards. I have a Eotech on mine. It's mounted on a flattop and the dot sits right on top of my front sight post when I sight in with my buis. Nice carbine. Most of the guys on the department have Eotechs but the ones with Aimpoints swear by them. My other AR is scoped right now for longer distances but I'll probably end up getting an Aimpoint for it.

Um.. no I have no problem hitting 1/2" shot groups at 100 yards. The carry handle is graet and the bushnell gets the job done just as well as a leupold without killing my wallet.

im just wondering how you shoot 1/2 MOA with the same barrel and rifle as mine except i have a vmatch upper receiver. i guess i would just have to see it to belive it.
