Here's a pic of the newset member of my collection. all I've done so far is put glass on it. the scope is a Simmons 3-9-40..... I can't wait to buy more crap for it. lol :ar15

Probably going to get a GM barrel and hogue stock for starters, from there I'm not sure. Z

Nice lookin rig you got there. I like the carbine type 10/22's, cause they just look meaner........but I haven't seen many people buying the Sporter, or RR models. I saw Rugers new 10/22 RR model and just had to have it. No barrel band, 20" barrel, plain stock with flat buttpad. I know many people are just gonna trick the lil gun out, but I prefer my model because there's no barrel band. I couldn't find anyone who carried the gun, so I unfortunately went to Wal Mart and had them order me one. You should've seen the look on the boys face when I told him what I wanted!! Didn't have a clue. Hehe. Anyway, the difference in price between the carbine, and RR model is about 10 bucks...not too shabby. I'll get a picture of it soon.

Oh, was wondering exactly what model scope that was, looks like a nice one.

Great gun you have there Zealot, and you also have a nice looking scope as well. It will shoot great, is reliable, and will provide you hours of inexpensive fun. Add a mod or two as time passes, and it will continue to shoot better and give you something to "tinker" with. I have five and I love everyone of them because they are all different! thats the combo I use for cottontails. Actually now I just use open sites and two 25 rounders and some cci stingers. Its a great gun

Cool, I got my Barrel today. Shouldn't it have some kind of instructions tho????or do they just assume everyones a natural-born gunsmith :D
