This MOA club thing is getting to me and getting me back in to shooting more (good thing), mainly to see how close I personaly can come to acheiving it. A couple of questions came to mind while shooting 05/01, and are as follows. Do all five targets need to be shot at the same range visit or would successive visits be allowed.
The reason for the ? is that after weighing and sorting cases to acheive some consistancy, neck turning , firing and sorting fired cases into those that group together, I've been running out of like shooting cases.. To reload these same cases again would mean a trip back to reload bench and then back to the range.. That or reload at the range and that is not really a viable option.. What it really boils down to is if a shooter obtains 2 or 3 moa targets, would there be much fuss about taking those cases--reloading again and coming back to finish the target.
Yours and others thoughts appreciated..

I would say it is time for some new brass ;)
If it were up to me I would say that is fine as long as the five groups are on the same sheet of paper. This is going to be a tough one. When I get mine finished I hope to give thouse five black dots some piercings.

Good luck!

ps: the Bushnell 3200 5-15X40 I have for sale in the Trading section could help in the quest for MOA Club!

Actually the brass is new ,2 to 3 times fired, and that for the purpose stated, to sort as to point of impact. This has worked well for bolt guns and seems to be working for the mini . Maybe more brass as to chose from instead of new , but then that would be new wouldn't it. I do know that diferent brands impact differently when loaded the same as do neck sized only. and those with turned necks..
Me thinks maybe it's the Mini?
Was mainly trying to see if any one else had tried using the same shell method???

The scope sounds like a good one, my Mag 44 6.5 x 20 is starting to not want to move poa as it should .

Sure you can. You can shoot 1 shot a day if you want as long as they are all on the same page.

I usually take 40 or 50 rounds to the range. This would be enough for two pages. I have a bunch of once fired military brass. If you use similar, group them by weight, and brand. Most of mine are LC. I group them to weigh within .2 grains.

I also have 500 cases of new Winchester brass. They all are 92.2 grains, and of the same lot number. This will be my best groupage I'm betten.

My Mini is still down as Ive dremmeled the old bushing except for a partical thin shell of it left. It is stuck down in the socket of the gas pipe. grrrrrrrrrrr!
