O.K. am I understanding this right?

Am I understanding this right. Not all aftermarket mags work in all Mini 14s. Brand A may fire perfectly in one Mini and then not work at all in another? Is the ONLY sure bet a factory mag? Has anyone found an aftermarket mag that he/she recommended that everyone else who bought it had it perform perfectly?

Yeap, that's about it. Most will tell ya that PMI's are great. Well, the 10 PMI's I have had to have there feed lips moved a little to work in my two 181's. They worked great in my newer mini. But not my older ones. After I bent the lips, the PMI's have never failed me. Only factorys have worked with out mods for me. I use the PMI's for the range and keep my dozen factory 20's and 30's for that rainy day.
