Got a couple of bandoleers of RadwayGreen 223 in.
So, I grabbed the mini and my 2 20 rounders and head for the range.
Also had 20 rounds of WWB 45 gr JHPs to shoot.

Gun and magazines were clean and ready to go.

PM#1 has two failures to go into battery right off the bat.
Round goes half way to chamber and stops first two rounds.
(This is the WWB)

Remembering what someone had posted about loose magazines,
I fired the rest of the magazine with my left hand
pushing up/supporting the base of the magazine.
The other 18 rounds fired fine.

PM#2 was loaded with Radway.
Had same type malfunction on second and fourth round.
Firing the with the magazine supported, the rest of the magazine
fired fine.

I fired another 20 rounds in each magazine. The magazine was
supported. No failures occured.

I am discontinuing monthly testing on these magazines.
I am going to try to get a refund from promag.
They are just not reliable enough to use.

Sounds like those two mags would benefit from a mod mentioned elsewhere in the forum (my apologies to the original author, I forgot who you are and I'm too lazy to do a search). In it, the author mentioned welding to build up the bottom of the rear lug, then trimming it back until it locks up tight.

Gundoc has a tip on mags in the Tips & Tricks section.

I bought a couple of the new ProMag 20 round mags a couple of weeks ago and haven't had any trouble with them. I hope you get the problem sorted out.

Hey kels:
Just curious, what are the first three digits in your serial number?

Sorry guys, been a bit since I posted here.

First 3 on the serial number is 184

The magazines were purchased new.
There is another post here about testing them
I think they had about 100 rounds thru them.
