I find it curious that I never saw Thermold mags new in the wrapper before and yesterday I saw several from two different vendors. The manufacturer's price printed on the packaging was 15.95 and I bought two at 15.00 each. I asked the vendor, what gives? He said there is a 10 round mag limit law under consideration and suppliers are unloading their stock. Now I wish I would have bought them all.............. :usa:

That doesn't even make any sense. If there were a new law on the way, wouldn't it make more sense for the dealers to hoarde the hi-caps so they can sell em after the law is in effect for like $100? Just like they did last time.

New, in wrappers, $15 bucks each. Something stinks. Check the photos here on what a Thermold looks like and see if the ones you saw have a pattent number stamped on the mag in the place the photos here have. Never heard of a $15 buck thermold.

There are some vendors trying to pass off Promag 30rd polymers as genuine Thermolds.

I can assure you that these are real Thermolds as I have five others. All markings are the same. Thermold. D & D, Inc, Wilson, N.C., USA (including the H) The cardboard packaging says Price 15.95 Thermold Design & Development, 30 RD. Mini-14 Magazine. For use with: Mini-14 Civilian Police & Military Models. Patent #4139959. Everything looks correct. My first and second cost 45.00 each. My sons then found one for 10.00 at a small show near Reading, PA. At the same show a year later and different vendor, I found two for 15.00 each. These are all Thermolds. :usa:
