My first ever try at the contest. I have my Mini zero'd for hunting and didn't want to change the scope so I fired a couple of sighters at a separate target and then used some hold-off with the crosshairs trying to drop them into the bull. Target on right fired first, a 46 (one hole at 10 o'clock is just touching the 10 ring). Shot left target next and got a 47.
Day was cloudy and 52 degrees. Tail wind of about 5-10 mph, so wind no factor. Handloads using LC brass which has been reloaded many times and given no special care. 55 grain Hornady with cannalure, 26 grains of WW748 and CCI primers.
Mini has a trigger job by Mike K. Hogue stock bedded by Gundoc. Doc also shortened the barrel and installed a Smith brake, total length 16 1/4". Recoil buffers installed. Scope is a Scheels 3.5-10X.
Someday I'll take the time to zero on target center and try again.
