Brownell's sells all the factory Mini 30 magazine components as individual pieces (and the same is probably true for the Mini 14). If you buy all the individual pieces rather than an assembled mag, you can put them together and save $2.63 per mag. Granted, that's not much, but since I disassemble all of my mags anyway to ensure they're cleaned up inside and then properly lubed, it not only saves me a few bucks, it also saves me the time of having to disassemble them. They're a breeze to put together, probably takes about 3 minutes.
I got a complete 5-round Ruger factory mag for $17.01 versus the $19.64 that Brownell's sells them for already assembled, and the $24.20 that Ruger sells them for. (Prices don't include shipping or any applicable taxes.) If you bought 10 sets of pieces, you'd save $26.30 over the assembled ones from Brownell's and $71.90 over what Ruger sells.
