Damn Cajun, this one's gonna be tough. I've seen many sub-moa targets out of my accurized and strutted mini, but I must admit, never 4 in a row! You've really set the bar high on this one. May have to use premium ammo or get into reloading for this one.

Yeah, my "best one out of 80 targets" ain't gonna cut it on this one.

Some of the strut guys wanted to try this so we set it up a while back. I believe there are 4 members here that could if they would. There will probably be fewer that make it. It is possible no mini will make it, but I believe it is possible.

My mini was close, but now it is less close. :( I plan to try for it. ;)

Don't let it discourage you. It isn't for everyone. It is hard. The other contests are more realistic for most shooters, and you may find you will enjoy them more. :D

I shall give it a try.

I'll say. The bar is high, the targets far and small, and the ol' eyes not so good anymore. On top of that, I'll be shooting iron sights. :o

But in the spirit of friendly competition, I will give it a go. ;) To be honest, I'll be happy to get one MOA bull on the target and two would be icing on the cake. To achieve four....... well, I won't even dream it !

my range is closed till May 9th, when turkey season is over, I guess I'll just hunt turkey and pack the mini for the yotes!

Caj- Gonna shoot for this weekend (pardon the pun), but the weatherman is calling for rain  . If this turns out to be the case, then I will have the perfect chance to mount my new scope, and hopefully, my mare will have had her foal by then. Due date is today, 04/20/05. :sniper:

cajun, What does ""Laissez Les Bon Temp Rouller" mean? I am just a dumb Iron Ranger from MN and we don't get out much, I think maybe something like "let the good times roll" or not. Just curious.

If I recall it's "Let the good times roll", at least that's what one of the guys in my squad in Germany always said ... his name was / is Boudroux and he had such a heavy Cajun accent that when he got excited no one could understand him LOL

Hehehe yes it is a famous Cajun saying. We have Mardi Gras, contraband days, and 42 other festivals through out the year. Lots of partying goes on.

One of my working buddies never been out of Louisiana and has a heavy accent. He went to Colorado to go snow skiing. He called ahead for Hotel reservations. The lady on the phone said: “What country are you from?” He said: “The country of Louisiana.” We all cracked up.

Hey All-
Sorry to report that I haven't been to the range since the last target posting, and today isn't looking good, either. It's been raining since very early this morning.(saturday,04/30) On another note, my mare has finally had her foal, at 0230 this morning. He is a colt, and my wife and I have named him Copernicus. Nick for short. Here's a pic for all to see. :sniper:

Congrats on the colt 2rangers; I haven't been around horses much since I was a kid, but that is great! :)

Your "mini" horse is cute. I just came from East Texas it rained all day there, and boy was it cold it was 48. It is 70 degrees here.

Back to the subject, I haven't had a chance to work on my mini this week. After I get it back up and running, I have a load I want to try. I also have an idea for a hydraulic strut if I have to.

Hey all-
Thanks for the congrats. I know were kind of getting off topic, so I'll try to keep this short. Today(sunday,05/01) is nice and sunny up here in MD, but it's very windy, plus I've been up all night keeping an eye on the new mom and little one. I'm looking forward to going to the range during the week, if the weather holds up. :sniper:
