Have you all heard of King Nebuchadnezzar who conquered all the nations around the Mediterranean? Did you know that he wrote a chapter in the Bible, Daniel 4?

Nebuchadnezzar the king,

To all peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth:
Peace be multiplied to you.
2 I thought it good to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked for me.
3 How great are His signs,
And how mighty His wonders!
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And His dominion is from generation to generation.

His account continues from here. The point is this. How those who are filled with pride and skeptical about God can be humbled and come to know and to proclaim that there is a God. He says in Dan3:28, 29

28 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, "Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel* and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! 29 Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this."

Great stuff cabdmd! And, it's important for us to note that:

there is only one line of thinking that is Truth -- any lines of thinking that deviate from that one Truth are false, not truth;

there is only one true God -- even though many have their own ideas on who or what that God is, making many false gods;

King Nebuchadnezzar specified which God he was speaking of -- the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego;

this is the God of the Bible -- the Father of Jesus Christ.
