what base and rings [Archive]

What rings and base should I use? This is my first non used bolt action. I want a rock solid mount and don't mind spending a little extra. Will mostly be used for target shooting and a little deer hunting. :sniper:

I purchased the Leupold 30 mm High Rings (.900) # 49959 and the Leupold two piece base for the SS scope. The rings ran around $40 dollars - not sure about the Leupold 2 piece base. But its a very secure system. Plus it puts the scope right where it should be - close to the barrel.
