Well, I have enough money to get another SKS. I currently own a Russian SKS. My question is would I be better off getting a Chinese or a Yugo. I could get an unissued Yugo for sure, or I could look around and maybe get a Chinese.

Well first off if all things were equal which has the better price. Myself I like the look of the Yugos. But I went in to look at Yugo SKSs and bought a HK-91 clone. :D

I would think the Yugo would be easier to find and cheaper.

get an Albanian if you can. It shoots about the same as the Russian. And they are collectable.

The Yugo ones I saw at range don't shoot that great, despite all the add-on barrel weight that make them look so fancy.

Guncats, don't you have a SKS with a wood thumbhole stock on it? Where'd u get that stock?

wrong guy dude, wasn't me.....
I shoot other people's sks quite a bit, but don't own one myself. Don't really need one, already have the mini-30 for that caliber. ;)
