Very nice! Is it as easy or similar as converting the rifles. I don't have any shotguns but those peak my interest.

Way cool! I've got the same question as above. Are the 12ga conversions about the same difficulty level? Anyone know if they are CA Legal?

I think that might be a grey area, because, while they are built on AK receivers, they are still shotguns, and not rifles.

That was my thought. I don't wanna hijack this guys thread though, so I'll just comment on how those shotguns look fantastic again! I like the Norinco (IIRC) stocks too. I saw a composite one at my local gunshop just the other day and thought, gee, sure wish I had a use for that.

I'm still curious as to how difficult it would be to convert...

HIJACK AWAY!! LOL

I forgot to mention when I posted... the TOP Is a .410, the bottom is a 20 gauge...

The shotties are just as easy to convert as the rifles... almost identical parts in them, just different dimensions for the differing cartridges...

The thumbhole stock is a grey area in some states... as its considered a "pistol grip" because it "protrudes beneath the receiver"... other than that... in the REST of the *FREE* USA, where the second amendment is NOT breached... you can do anything ya like with one... LOL

Personally I love the thumbhole stock on the 410... I like the heft and balance.. and the way it tucks in when you shoot it... Its a great lil rabbit and squirrel gun..

Thanks for the nice comments..

I would love to see a synthetic version of those!

Comeandtakeit, those are the standard 5 rounders.

I was thinking about a Saiga 20-gauge for 3-gun competition... and the guys with speed loaders think they are fast... haha... I could just tape 2 magazines together end to end... like to see them beat that. How reliable is the Saiga anyways? They sure look nice.

Ok :D

Semiauto magazine fed shotguns aren't legal for sale in CA. So, I'll have to wait on finding some way cool looking shotguns. Nice work.

They are EXTREMELY reliable!

Other than the 20 needing a short break in period with light game loads at first, they seem to really do the trick. They cycle fast and shoot great!

With 2 3/4 dram shells I have had *ZERO* FTE...

About 2 in 5 of the 2.5 dram loads will not eject completely.. they stovepipe in the action... just need a little break in period, for the gun to "loosen up" after a few hundred rounds, they behave a lot better.

I took my 20 out to the local trap league club... to "practice" shot a decent round with it!

Got *LOTS* of hard looks from the older "classic style" trap buffs though! ROFL!!!

Grab one if you can FIND ONE... they are going fast!
