I sold the rifle this weekend at the gunshow. I'm going to list all the accessories by themselves in the correct FS forum.
I'm kicking around the idea of selling my Mini 14 and all the accessories I've collected for it. This is a 185 series Mini 14, serial number 98xxx, manufactured, according to Ruger's website, in 1990. This was a replacement given to me by Ruger for an earlier model Mini that was damaged due to bad handloading by my Father. By the time I'd gotten this rifle I had lost all interest in the Mini and it's pretty much sat in my safe ever since. It's probably had 300 to 500 rounds fired through it and except for a couple of marks, gotten there by juggling it around in the safe, it's in like new condition. Most of the accessories date back to the mid to late 80's, but some, like the scope mount, are newer. I got interested in the Mini again about a year ago, but decided to go with an AR rifle instead for the use I have planned. I don't know who made the one 20 and the two 30 round mags, but they appear to be made by the same manufacturer and they work perfectly. The gun shoots well, functions perfectly and will produce 4" groups at 100 yards with good ammo. The rifle has had no major modifications. I've had the scope mount on it once, the flash hider on it once and have swapped the fiberglass handguard for the older wood one, but the fiberglass guard is included too.
Here's what you get:
Mini 14 rifle with 5 round mag
Wood handguard
Fiberglass handguard
Scope mount and rings
Brass catcher
Butler Creek folding stock
M-14 style pin on flash hider
2 thirty round mags
1 twenty round mag
Original owners manual
I thought I'd offer it here before I put it up for auction. Asking $700 for the lot, if you think that's too high, don't insult me, just make me an offer. I'll consider partial sales or trades also, but would first like to see if I can sell it as a lot.
I'd prefer to do a face to face deal with someone located in Arizona, but am not adverse to shipping to a licensed FFL holder anywhere in the country.
