Having seen just about every way to attach a sling to an M16/M4 I have to say that your sling looks good for as cheap as it probably was. However I have seen the front sight get moved/bent on both M16s and M4s by attaching the sling to the front sight post. Granted those guys were carrying the rifle all day and all night for months and months but you may just want to keep an eye on it. Wouldn't want you to screw up your investment.
