Seriously though, here is my California legal SKS on which I installed a POSP scope. http://schurch.fatcow.com/pics/sksleft.jpg


I haven't shot for groups yet, but when I go to my range I'm on the 225 M gongs 20 for 20. They are about 10'' and the 500 M gongs 8 of 10. The 500 M gongs are about 24". Just thought I'd share.

Now I got a question for ya: How did you mount that scope?

Kalinka sells these side mounting plates that are already drilled. The instuctions they give are to tap and thread the receiver and fasten the plate with two short screws.

I just welded mine up. The mounting plate extends down toward the trigger group just a bit, so dremmeled the stock to match.

On the POSP scopes there is a little lever that allows you to remove and replace with out losing zero. It's pretty neat really. Scott
