I have decided to sell my my Mini-14 to help pay for some college bills. I will list everything that I have done to the Mini-14 as well as all the accessories that I am selling along with it.
First, let me describe the gun itself. It is a Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle in .223 with a serial number that starts with 196. The rifle has a wooden stock and is blued. The trigger group is all original and was adjusted to be a 2 stage trigger by Mike Knifong out of Oregon. Also, I have Mike's medium sized gas bushing installed in place of the factory gas bushing to ease the recoil impulse of the gun. Those two items are the only two significant performance upgrades that I have done to the rifle. Also, the gun has a M-14 type flashhider installed on the end of the barrel to give it a unique look.
Now to the accessories. Included with the Mini-14 is the following: 1 PMI 30 round magazine, another 30 round magazine (unknown manufacturer), 2 10 round John Masen magazines, 2 Ruger factory 5 round magazines, a Harris #14 bipod adaptor, a Harris 1A2LM bipod adjustable from 9" - 13", Mike Knifong 3 piece gas bushing set (one installed plus factory original), Ruger Medium scope rings and High scope rings, a Tasco Titan 3-9x44 scope (with ring marks), Mike Knifong instructional bedding video, Ruger manual and cable lock, and a rubber 1" buttplate. All accessories are LNIB except for the scope and bipod adaptor which have handling marks.
I did some rough estimates and all of the above would retail at about $750. But since the gun is used and I would like it to move, I'll sell it all for $625 shipped. I will accept PayPal (+3%) or USPS Money Orders. I will ship the gun via UPS Ground and all the accessories via USPS Priority (if I can't get them with the rifle). I am not interested in any trades at this time although I will entertain any reasonable offer since I would like to get this gun sold. I will need a signed copy of the buyer's FFL to ship it to out of state. I will also try to do FTF in Texas if the drive is reasonable. ;)
This gun has been nothing but perfect for me when I used it. I have had ZERO malfunctions of any kind.
