well xmas was over and i had a B-day happen this last month so i collected all the money and went pistol buying. Gun buying for me is always an adventure and like forest gumps box of chocolate you never know what you are going to get.

this was going to be the first pistol i ever bought, the big push for me to get one was my father got a ruger .357 bisley this last fall and when i was home for xmas vaction i ran about 600 rounds through it. so i decied i wanted something with some punch to it not a 9 mm 0r a 22

i really wanted a .40 preferely a glock, or a ruger, then i spotted the P 345 and let me say ruger did a good job on this pistol. I looked around the area and got the best price for $400. and then went shooting

my friend craig brought his ruger P90 so i could compare the the two.

the improvements ruger made was mainly in the grip
they slimmed it down and made it really handy to hold on too so you can fire rapid burst and keep the muzzle down, they added an accesories rail (can't wait to buy a laser) and has better sights than the P 90. It will fire the P 90 clips

the only drawbacks are I hate the loaded chamber indicator, some people my like it but it seems strange to me, and you need the clip in it to fire the weapon, it will not fire with the clip ejected.

I didn't say this but do a search in google for Ruger forums, go in there and a search for p345 Mag safety (or something along those lines.)
