savage bolt

I think i have decided i want a savage 111f in 30-06. but i was wondering if you could use stripper clips with these? its not imporatant but i was just wondering.

I have an older ( 80 something ) savage 110 in 30-06, dont know if they are the same, but mine doesnt have any kind of stripper clip guide on it.
I suppose you could just hold it in place and push the rounds down into the mag.
Mine only holds 3 rounds anyway so I dont think it would be any faster .
