I have a Ruger 77/44. (the bolt action MK2 rifle in .44 Rem Mag) I also have several 10/22 carbines. I want to put some Tru-Glo sights on the 77/44 and they look like they are the same iron sights as the ones on the 10/22. My question is, ARE THEY? Will they be able to be changed on the 77/44 just like the instructions say for the 10/22's on the package that the sights come in? Any feedback on this would be helpful. Thanks

I don't know about the 77/44. You might call the sight manufacturer.

Since your question as about a bolt action. I'm moving this topic to the bolt action bd. They may be able to help.

Beast, I measured the width of the dovetail on the front sight of my 77/22 (should be the same as 10/22) and it came to be about ~.34 inches. If the you measure the width of the dovetail of the front sight of your 77/44 and it's about the same as that of my 77/22, you should be good to go! ;) Hope this helps!
