silenced 10/22s and bolt actions are like the coolest silenced guns in the world.

Nice collection you have SOT_II. Haven't heard a surpressed rifle fire. Maybe I can hear one one day or maybe not hear.

Sure you have, you just don't know it....

Dryfire the 10/22, work the bolt...that's the sound.

Same with the 77/22...when done right the action and bullet impact are the noises you hear.

Cajungeo it's better than cool. Ran into a DPS sniper at the range one day. He was set up on the 200yd. end of the rifle range. I did a double take when I heard it go off the first time. Then I did another one when I saw what he was shooting. He had a supressed M40 in .308 and it looked like it had been laying out inthe woods for a couple of years. The noise of the bullit hitting the target backboard and then the mound of dirt behind it was so much louder that the rifle going off that it was like the twilight zone.

I have had bullets fly over my head. I hear a little pop (as the bullet makes a small sonic boom) before I hear the gun fire. Thats why they say you never hear the bullet that gets you. :(
