I just recently bought one of the Century Fals. At the risk of sounding dummy, is there any accurate way to tell the difference between an Inch and a Metric? I've scanned several forums looking for some ideas, but i'm not having a lot of luck. Is there anything in particular I need to look for? Thanks in advance for any help.....

The bad part about a Century is that yu may have a rifle built with "Inch" parts but on a metric receiver. To determine which type partys you have, check at the buttstock area.

Now to determine which type mags you will need. If you look inside the front of the magwell you will see where the dimple on the front of the mag will rest. A metric receiver will only have a small area for this dimple, where as an an inch receiver will have a larger area that is rectangular. Soprry can't find the pics at the moment

here are the mag cut-outs Rooster's referring to...

the inch receivers' charging handle slot is also cut differently to accomodate the folding handle.....

if your pistol grip is held on by a nut inside the grip it's a metric lower. inch use a bolt thru the top of the lower receiver into the grip.
if your front sight post flares out from the post to a wide cirlce before the threads start it's a metric barrel. inch sight posts go pretty much straight from the post to threads.
hope that's not more confusing....
