Sadly, that's true in some cases.

Christians believe in the Bible; which has a very-difficult-to-follow moral code. In fact, it's so difficult to follow, that no man has ever followed it perfectly for his whole life...except for Jesus Christ!

Now look at us Christians, trying to follow a moral code that's impossible for us to follow perfectly. Does it make us look like hypocrites? Yes, it does. We preach one thing, but often we do the very things we preach against. This is part of our struggle on the Christian path. Sin will haunt us 'til the day we die. The key to this puzzle is not to look at Christians as the representatives of the Christian faith, rather, look to Jesus Christ. The picture of what a true Christian should look like.

After all, the Christian's purpose on this earth is just to spread the gospel and bring glory to God. We're not here to "save" souls. That's God's job. ;)

That is one of the nice things about being a Methodist ... you are told to just do your best, keep trying.

That's a good one Bill....
I once heard it a little differenly:

Whats the difference between baptists and Catholics?
The Catholics will say hello to each other in the liquor store.

heh heh
Hope i don't offend anyone.... I just get a chuckle out of that one.

So, Sword... what happened to ya to be stuck at home?

No, But its been proven that a guy from Ky with brain damage can lay a word trap. And then warn of the trap by saying, "carefull, dont step in the trap" and have a great intelectual mind such as yourself step right in it by "inferring" that because Im a Christian Im KKK. :lol:http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-10/869127/anim_rofl2.gif

Im done. Have your fun with me. I can take it.

GREYBEAR

Now Sword, you're twisting my words around. I didnot infer that you were KKK, I simply asked a question. I used the example of the KKK and the Serbs, you used the Taliban and Al-Qaida. I feel that there is no difference in any of these group's intolerance toward others. They are all evil. :(

By the way Catholics also say hello to each other in bars.

You guys are welcome :)

There is a range about 20 minutes drive from me that can handle a lot of people. Never been cuz I can shoot of my porch up to 80 yards. But I have heard by word of mouth that they have several 100's and 500 and 1000 yard ranges for all you long shooters :)

After puttin some holes in paper, we could come back to my place for a bbq or something :)

we could all rough it in a local state campground for a day or two or three. one with a big grill at all the sites and a shower maybe. i do a mean "pork butt" on a covered grill. spring or fall would be my prefrence for weather conditions. maybe by fall swordslinger will be healed and mobile. how far is mt. rogers state park (bristol area) from all of you?

maybe the range would give us a group discount or "senior citizens" rate. with a little planning and timing it could happen. what are weapons rules in your state/states about transporting?

biguglyone,

this is another reason to stay outside. i have a friend who would not camp with us because he said he snored too loud. he slept in his pick-up bed in case he had to leave camp under orders. well...he left because i ran him off with my nasal noise. "have no fear" i will make you sound like a baby bunny rabbit with a pacifier.   this is gospel. (trying to stay on topic) ;)
